About Us

Since 1997, Ocean Views Non-Public School (NPS) has served students throughout Orange County from 3rd to 12th grade with an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) who previously were unsuccessful in a traditional educational setting. The curriculum is individualized to meet the needs of each student.

Students are referred, supported and placed at Ocean View NPS through the I.E.P. process. Ocean View can integrate new students throughout the year contingent on openings and the determination that Ocean View School can meet the needs of the student. Our individualized program supports academic success and credit recovery within a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapeutic Model and school community.

Placement is supported through the students Individualized Educational Plan by the student’s district of residence. The students district of residence continues to be involved and provides support, issues Credits, maintains an Official Transcripts and Case Management throughout the IEP process with respect to all California and Federal Educational Codes. Credits earned while attending Ocean View are reflected in the students official transcript and as students work towards earning their Diploma from their school of residence. Ocean View supports credit recovery and skill development to facilitate the option of a successful transition to less restrictive and traditional school environments. Please contact Ocean View NPS or your student’s Case Manager for more information.
